| Waukesha Physical Therapy Clinics (WPTC) has been providing independent rehabilitation services in Waukesha County since 1979. Beginning with our first clinic in the Moreland Medical Center, we have expanded to two other locations in Waukesha County to better serve our patients. |
 |
| WPTC was founded by Ann Schultheis, P.T. to provide physical therapy with a more personal approach. We educate new patients with the findings of their evaluation including anatomical mechanics, types of treatments available and the expected outcomes. Individual therapy programs are created to fit each patient crafted around a one-to-one relationship between the patient and a therapist. |
| Patient surveys say that our clinic staff is helpful and the atmosphere friendly. Many of our patients have been referred by friends who have received physical therapy at one of our three clinics. Independent surveys conducted by Midwest Rehabilitation Network Inc. (MRNI) give our clinics a 99.4% rating over the past several years. |

We provide a wide variety of services and hands-on approaches to meet patient rehabilitation goals. We offer traditional treatment modalities such as ultrasound, muscle stimulation, mechanical traction, iontophoresis and others enhanced by our hands-on therapy techniques. |
| These techniques include muscle energy and myofascial release and soft tissue and joint mobilization. Some of our therapists also hold specialty training certificates such as vestibular (balance) therapy and strength training and conditioning. We incorporate other unique treatment procedures to enhance stand and gait balance and core stabilization to return our patients to full functional status for work, play, sports or home or self care. |
| Patients are provided with individualized home exercise and preventive care programs designed to minimize or eliminate pain and discomfort and enhance the healing process. Patient education is provided throughout the treatment process. After a detailed evaluation, exercise protocols are used to increase range of motion, strength and endurance. Home exercise programs are designed for the patient in order to ensure that results are maintained or further progress is achieved. |
| Patients that come to our clinics are by physician or insurance referral, return patients, or have been sent by friends and community. We are very proud of our reputation in the Waukesha medical community. Our clinics are staffed by a professional team that includes experienced licensed physical therapists, licensed physical therapy assistants and massage therapists. Patients are scheduled and treated on an individual basis, never in groups. Therapists, not aides, provide patient services and listen to patient concerns. WPTC will provide your treatment in a timely manner to achieve treatment goals. Our clinics are open five days a week with varied hours for patient convenience. |
