What is outpatient Physical Therapy? |

Physical therapists improve mobility, relieve pain, educate and prevent permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering form injuries or disease. Outpatient physical therapy is treatment of patients outside of a hospital setting. Generally, treatment can involve an evaluation, exercises, ultrasound, traction, heat/cold and other therapies to return the individual to the highest level of function possible. more information is available at www.wpta.org and www.apta.org. |

Do I need a prescription or a referral for Physical therapy? |

In most cases you will need a referral. There are a few exceptions. For example, if you return for the same problem you do not need a referral. |

What insurance will you accept? |

We accept most insurance companies including workers' compensation and Medicare. If you have questions about your insurance company, call (262) 798-8644 and we will try to answer your insurance questions. |

Will/do the therapists communicate with my physician? |

We keep in touch with your doctor at all stages of your rehabilitation, with progress notes and a note when you are finished with your rehabilitation. |

If you cannot make an appointment, please notify us as soon as possible to reschedule. It is important that you attend your regular scheduled appointments to obtain the maximum results in the shortest time. If you are going to be late, please call and we will make every effort to accomodate. |
